Divisoria market located in Manila would have to be the best Markets i have seen in my travels in the Philippines, Here you can find just about anything you can imagine from simple gift's to wedding dress's. Be aware that that it is tightly packed an a lot of the stalls are located outside so have to be willing to do the leg work. For those willing to suffer thru the crowds also the heat will be able to find a good bargain here on just about anything they could want.
If you do decide to visit the Divisoria make sure that you leave anything of value back at where you are staying because of the packed crowds an tight spaces it is possible you can have something stolen if you are being careless. That said don't be turned off because it is worth the visit and you wont be disappointed with what you find there if you love shopping.
There are also stalls inside the different building there but the prices can be slightly hire then what you would get outside. You are able to bargain with the sales person to try an get the best price, also if you can't get price you want you can just go to the next stall because more then one carry the same item that you are after. Being western will also get you a higher price when you ask but always ask for a lower one and they will tend to go down on what they originally ask.
Getting to Divisoria is easy there are lots of jeepney's going there, but if that is not your style of travel all the taxi driver's know where it is. Be warned thou if you leave it till late in the day you will be faced with a hard time getting home because of the traffic in the area.
All in all if you want some bargains an see what Philippines has to offer an shop where the locals do visit Divisoria an you wont regret it.
