Angeles City Bars

Angeles City Bars

Angeles City has most probably the biggest amount of bars in the smallest area in the Philippines, most of them being GoGo style bars with common theme of having a dance floor in the center with chairs around for the customers to sit an watch the girls in their bikinis.
Of the bars in Angeles City there are two distinct areas that they can be found, Perimeter road and Walking Street. Both these areas are different from the other an can expect to have a different experience at either one.

Tiger Hotel Angeles City

Tiger Hotel

The Tiger Hotel located in Angeles City is one of lowest priced hotels in Angeles, it conveniently located in center of the tourist area with short walk to Perimeter road or Walking street. SM Clark is also a short walk away along with Friendship Jeepney terminal less then 200m away. But with its low cost comes some what dated design and amenity's such as window style air con ,electric hot water system and just stairs to get up to the higher floor's. If that doesn't turn you away it is good for what you are paying, the staff are friendly and there is always a guard on the door.

Angeles City

Angeles City

Angeles City

Angeles City is in Pampanga province located roughly 84km north of Manila in the Philippines. The city is most known for its concentration of casinos and wild nightlife along its walking street. It is also famous for  its extreme sports adventures on Mt Pinatubo.

How to get there is rather easy if you are already in the Philippines the best option is by bus that stops at DAU bus terminal, there are 8 different services that run thru DAU from Manila.
The other option is by Plane an come directly into the Philippines and land at Diosdado Macapagal International Airport (DMIA), which can be better then coming in via manila as not so much hassle an headache of Manila. The only problem is there aren't a lot of flights going to Angeles so can be limited to when you will be able to travel. But if you are looking to fly direct you will be able to find flights coming out of either Hong Kong or Singapore.

Helpful Words To Know In The Philippines

Ocean Park Manila
Now before heading to the Philippines it always useful to get some Tagalog words to help you along the way, thou it may not be needed most of the time since a great many people do speak English, it can help to break the ice when talking to someone or make you not come off that you just got there and easy to take advantage of. Even if you pronounce it wrong you will get a few laughs, they wont hold it against you and teach you to say it right.

Baguio

Baguio City In The Clouds

Baguio City
Baguio is located about 6 hours drive from Manila (250km) via Kennon Road, it is a nice place to get away from the hot days you normal have in the major city's with the avg temp hitting the mid 20 Celsius. So if your feeling the heat and are needing to cool off for awhile Baguio is the place for you to unwind and relax. It doesn't have much in the way of a night life that you have with other tourist places in Philippines but what it lacks in night life it makes up for with the climate an scenic views.
There is also plentiful fruit and vegetables available here that you cannot find in other area's of the Philippines due to the climate such as strawberry's.

Great Eastern Hotel Quezon City Review

 Great Eastern Hotel

The Great Eastern Hotel Located on Quezon ave is one of the many hotels that are available in QC, being an older hotel then most in the area it is a bit dated but for the price it is worth it. Average room prices run at 1500 peso a night, it also has a newer wing added to it but you will have to pay more for the newer rooms. They offer a discount if you are planing on staying longer then 1 week at 5% so can work out well if you are planning a long trip.

Manila Airport

Manila Airport Immigration
Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport Guide

So it's your first time traveling to Manila and you want to know what to expect when you get there, well hopefully i can cover a dew things that may help you.
Once you arrive you will hopefully have filled out your immigration card as well as your customs declaration card on the plane before getting off this will save you some time because it will be very difficult to do so once your waiting in line to go thru immigration. The waiting time will depend on how many other flights have landed around the same time an can get very busy so you may spend 10-20 min waiting for you to get thru immigration. It is far from streamlined an can remind you of cattle trying to get thru a very small gate. Once you get to the window an it is all checked out you will get a stamp in your passport for a 30 day stay within the Philippines unless your from one of the few country's that only allow 7 days.
